3rd Annual Makeover Event
Through all of life’s ups and downs, Lindi never seems to ask why. she has faced some difficult storms in her life recently one of which forced her into early retirement. Lindi would be the first person to tell you that she has a “fatal disease,” and she still has that smile on her face. Her joyful smile is perpetual in spite of the storms she continues to face in life.
Lindi never stops reaching out to help others. Each year she coordinate the Angel Tree ministry at Calvery Chapel. She focuses her attention other the children of incarcerated parents so that each one receives a Christmas gift. She wants these children to know that they are loved by others who may not necessarily be a part of their everyday life.
Lindi and her husband Tom are also involved in a motorcycle fellowship ministry where they minister to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of participants and others in the community. Lindi is also willing to give of her time and talents in whatever capacity when she can, limited only by her own disease.
Lindi was given a prognosis of six months to live, that was six years ago and she is still going strong. She consistently beats the odds for survival. Lindi continues every day to focus on others and helps to make their life more full and meaningful.
